How do I save something?
- Open Add learning in your library.
- Paste text, upload a supported image, video, or PDF, or add an X post link when X saving is available.
- Add an optional note and choose Add source.
You can carry on with your day while Save2Brain pulls out the useful ideas. Completed learnings appear in your private library automatically.
How do I save from an article or website?
Copy the text you want to keep into Add learning, or select it on the page and save with the Chrome extension. For X, use the link to the individual post.
An ordinary webpage link on its own won’t import the article. Saving its text gives Save2Brain the material to work with.
What makes a useful source?
Choose material with an idea you want to use again: a practical tip, a helpful explanation, a workflow, or a lesson from experience. Include enough context to make the idea understandable.
Where can I see the progress of a save?
Open Inbox for updates. Your saved sources move through these views:
- Processing: your source is saved and is being prepared, or waiting its turn. You can cancel active processing.
- Added: your learnings are ready in your private library. Topics may still be getting organized.
- Needs attention: open the item for a clear next step. Choose Retry when it is offered.
- Removed: find learnings or sources you’ve removed and can still restore.
What does “No reusable learning found” mean?
Save2Brain finished reading the source but didn’t find a useful idea to add to your library. This can happen with a short reaction or announcement. Try a source with more explanation or a practical takeaway.
Will clearing Inbox activity remove my learnings?
Your learnings stay in your library when you clear Added activity. Added updates stay in Inbox for 30 days unless you clear them sooner.
To remove a learning itself, use its library removal option.
How do I find and organize my learnings?
Search in Learnings to find an idea. Topics group learnings by subject; you can correct a Topic when another fits better. Collections let you bring together ideas for a project or purpose.
Taking a learning out of a Collection keeps it in your library.
Can I edit an idea or revisit its source?
Open a learning to read its source details and references. Edit the wording to make it more useful to you, then save. Your library and permitted AI connections use the updated version.
AI can make mistakes. The source references help you check the context and make your own judgment.
How do removal and Restore work?
Remove learning from library removes that idea everywhere in your library. Removing a source and all its learnings removes the whole group.
Both appear in Inbox → Removed, where you can restore them. Discarding a Removed entry gives up Restore permanently; it does not permanently erase the underlying item data. For account deletion, use Settings.
Where can I get a browser extension?
Add Save2Brain to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store on your computer. Open the extension and choose Connect Save2Brain to start saving.
See browser availability for the latest releases. Safari, Firefox, and Edge are coming soon.
You can already paste text or upload files on the website. You do not need an extension to start saving.
What can I save with the Chrome extension?
Select useful text on a webpage and choose Save2Brain from the right-click menu or toolbar. On X, use the Save2Brain button on the individual post when X saving is available.
You choose each save. The extension does not automatically collect your feed or unrelated browsing activity.
Why does Chrome say “Proceed with caution”?
Chrome’s Enhanced Safe Browsing trust is separate from Chrome Web Store publication. Google says new developers generally need a few months to establish that trust. Save2Brain cannot remove this browser warning or promise when it will disappear.
Review the listing, permissions, and privacy information before deciding whether to install. See Google’s guidance on extension trust.
What if my save is waiting to send?
If Save2Brain is temporarily unavailable, the extension may hold an eligible save and try again. Check its status in the extension, then look in Inbox once it has been sent.
Choose your permissions and follow the setup instructions in the app.
How do I connect my AI to my library?
- Open Agent Access in the app.
- Choose your whole library or selected Collections, what the AI may read, and when access expires.
- Follow the connection instructions for a compatible AI tool on your computer.
The connection currently uses a local MCP setup: a way for a compatible AI tool on your computer to read the knowledge you allow. Setup is required; it isn’t an automatic connection to every AI app.
See how your AI can use saved knowledgeWhat can my connected AI do?
It can search and read the learnings you allow, with their source references. Access is read-only, so your connected AI cannot change your library or save new sources through this connection.
Can I stop access later?
Yes. Revoke the connection in Agent Access to stop future reads, or let it expire on the date you chose. Revoking access does not recall information an AI tool has already received.
Where do I see my plan, credits, and receipts?
Open Settings → Plan & billing for your credits, renewal or end date, and any scheduled changes. Use the Paddle link there to view invoices and receipts or update your payment method.
Compare Free, Pro, and Power on the pricing page. Your selected plan is kept through sign-in so you can review it before checkout.
Open Plan & billingHow do I change or cancel my plan?
Go to Plan & billing. Before an upgrade, you’ll see the amount from Paddle and your renewal details. A downgrade or cancellation shows the date it takes effect.
Use Keep subscription to reverse a scheduled change before that date. Changes are applied once payment or subscription confirmation is received.
Read the cancellation and refund policyHow do I ask for a refund or get payment help?
Contact support using the contact page. Refund requests are acknowledged and reviewed under our refund policy.
If a payment needs attention, Plan & billing shows the next step. Keep card details, passwords, one-time codes, and bank credentials out of support emails.
What happens to my subscription if I delete my account?
The deletion review lets you explicitly cancel your subscription and delete your account together. This ends remaining paid access and unused credits. We verify cancellation before removing your saved data. Ordinary subscription cancellation in Plan & billing still keeps access until the paid period ends. Deletion does not automatically issue a refund or remove existing refund rights.
How do I export my data or delete my account?
Open Settings while signed in to request a private data export or start account deletion. Follow the verification steps shown there.
Removing a learning from your library is reversible through Inbox. Account deletion is a separate process for deleting your account and its data.
Where can I learn about privacy or get more help?
Visit Security for a simple overview of your controls, or read the privacy policy for details about how your data is handled.
For product help, privacy requests, or grievances, visit Contact. A short description of what happened and the page you were using helps us understand your request.
